Product Description

The debate between tread vs. slick is over. The perfect blend of stability, grip, and carvability is here with the TFL Enduro Tire for Onewheel™.

We spent over a year and countless prototypes to build the perfect hybrid tire. We took everything the community has learned over the last 6 years about what makes the ideal tire, and put it into the Enduro.

-A custom durometer creates a dampened ride which significantly reduces off-road chatter and road noise.

-A proprietary directional tread design with siping patches makes for the quietest treaded ride on the street, while a full wrap sidewall tread pattern boosts off-road edge hold and grip while charging through turns.

-Progressive sidewall durometer and shoulder shaping create the largest possible edge contact patch while digging deep into carves for unparalleled edge hold and greatly reduced speed wobbles.

Compound Choice:
Soft compound will feel smoother, forgiving, and more buttery underfoot. However, due to it being a soft compound it will not last as long and tends to wear out quicker.

Mid compound will increase the longevity of the tire, extending the period of time between tire changes. However, it will not be as forgiving underfoot and will have a more noticeable "edge" when carving.

HEAVEN on 1 wheel

First off, quick review: this tire is AMAZING. Stable at speed, carvy, nimble, smooth, and RIPS up offroad trails. I bought the enduro tire for my onewheel XR and opted for the SOFT compound.

Now, time for me to rant:

First off, for riding on the street, this thing is great. It is more stable than the vega in that it has ZERO speed wobbles when you hit bumps, but yet it has a nice little edge that you can carve on like butter and turn corners much faster than on the vega. It has a nice little center flat spot for stability but then easily rolls onto the edge to carve and turn, and is somehow QUIETER than the vega while having more tread pattern. The only disadvantage I can see is that it may have slightly less range than the vega. I am running it at 20psi and maybe get 10 percent less range than the vega. I have only owned it for a day though so I am not entirely sure on this.

Now for the real juicy stuff: offroading on this thing (gravel road, singletrack, grass) is INSANE. I now understand why they call onewheeling "floating". Sure, my XR was fun with the vega tire, but with this tire, I have been re-addicted to my board. This tire absorbs bumps perfectly while maintaining control (even at 20psi) and is super nimble on the trail for quickly choosing a line and avoiding roots and rocks. However, the biggest reason I love this tire is that due to its rounded bottom profile (unlike the flat vega), it is able to hold a line through the chunky stuff better than I ever thought possible. With the vega, hitting a bump funny while offroading would send me sideways, either off the trail or into a speed wobble of death. With this tire, those same trails are like riding a silk road. With this enduro tire on my XR, I can pick a line through the trail, and because of the rounded profile, I can hold that line through ruts, over rocks, and most importantly, along sideways sloped surfaces. This tire can easily ride on the sloped edge so I can ride on a sideways sloped surface but still have the board be right side up.

Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this tire, especially if you do a mix of on and offroad riding. I don't know what kind of witchcraft they are putting into these products over at the float life, but its absolutely wicked. This tire is smooth, carvy, floaty, stable at speed, and powers through the chunky stuff like butter while also being quiet and cruising easy on the pavement. Couldn't recommend it more. If you are considering it at all, just BUY IT. You won't be disappointed! (unless of course you enjoy speed wobbles).

Enduro Tire for XR

Hey I’m not the first to the game and it’s no surprise but the enduro tire for the Onewheel XR is awesome. Switched out that stock Vega and with the enduro mid compound and the board has come to life in a new way. Still stable enough to hit pushback speeds on the straights but more nimble and playful for carving and corners. Softer on curbs and bumps compared to the OEM tire as well. Just make the switch you deserve it.
