The stock plastic motor connector retainer lock ring is notorious for breaking resulting in the motor cable having a poor connection or becoming unplugged. This can be the cause of various issues such as; frying your controller, frying your motor, etc. Needless to say, nobody needs that sketchy S#@%!!

Replace it with one of these metal lock rings and make sure you have a secure connection!!

A bit tough to install, but now feeling alot more secure with my motor cable firmly connected!

The installation is not easy. The provided tool hardly works. Vice grips did the job and the part fixed my issue

it works good and I'm happy knowing my motor cable is secure, however it was a very hard process to get on the board, I ended up having to hammer it on to the cable.

Tired of breaking the tiny nipples off of the stock motor connector lock rings? TRY TFL’S METAL REPLACEMENT. These rings are so polished and beautiful I almost got down on one knee to put it on my girls finger…
Ngl, they take a tad bit of finesse to seat on the motor plug, but once it’s on, the connection to the port is extremely snug and solid. Stoked that I don’t have to worry about nudging hard anymore with the peace of mind these little upgrades bring. FOMF!
