Why the heck are these tires so cheap?

Every batch of tires we receive from the tire factory is hand inspected here at the Float Shop for imperfections prior to being placed into inventory. Sometimes we get a few tires that don't pass our in-house quality control inspection due to small imperfections that are potentially beyond cosmetic. These "factory second" tires passed the tire factory QC, but not our more stringent in-house QC. We don't feel 100% confident in backing these tires with our full tire warranty as these defects might effect the life of the tire so we are HEAVILY discounting and offering them through JTS with NO WARRANTY and NO RETURNS offered. These tires are great for folks who may want to sample a tire they are curious about, but don't want to spend $100+ on it.

Tires are pulled at random so don't be that guy who emails Brandon asking him to pick the best one for you.

Soft Pioneer mounted on a GTS

No issues whatsoever, and such a great deal. Minir imoerfextions on the inside of the tire, but passed factory Quality Check so all good on the performance. When i seated the bead (2nd pop at 28psi) i aired up to 40psi and checked it after 30 min. 0 air loss. If you are nervous, put some Stay Afloat or Armor Dilloz and kiss those worries goodbye. Test ride was great, very stable but yet very carvable. Ran it through my backyard which has grass of varying length a d patchy dirt areas, handled flawlessly. My only regret is i didn't buy a Mid Compound with this soft one to compare longevity. I expect to run this til it's bald, then maybe give the Thundercat a try next.
JTS for the win cause I love a good deal.
