Hey Float folks I love the jacket, the service was awesome. Unfortunately you shipped me two jackets, I paid for one but got two. If you guys send me a prepaid shipping label I get the second jacket sent back to you. It’s in the unopened original box.
Hey the shoulder pads sort of move, other than that the jackets is great, I only wore it once and never put it on after that since it was too big but I’d love to trade it in for a small size !
TFL T.A.C. Jacket - Flannel
Runs 1/2 size small but it might feel tight due to the padding. I've since taken out the spine pad and the fit is better. The elbow pads wouldn't protect a superman slide. They protect the outer elbow so I need to learn how to roll properly. I also might need to figure out a way to keep them properly secured. They slide around less than an inch but I haven't seen it as an issue yet.
The jacket is warm enough in 45-50° temperature when zipped and cool enough when only buttoned in 70° temps. I don't think it's a summer option here in NorCal.
I found it odd the zipper is reversed like female garments. Overall I'm pleased enough to recommend it for most riders. The convenience of not worrying about elbow pads is surprisingly a nice treat. Float on my Friends.
The jack is fine, but the zipper is cheat and low quality, pads are useless and the jacket was broken when I tried to put it on for the first time.
