Product Description
TFL Pioneer Off-Road Tire for the Antic Bike
OK fine, you want tread?! Well then, we're going to give you more tread than you can handle! We developed the Pioneer to feature the deepest and widest tread available for your Antic Bike BY FAR.
The Pioneer was created with the all-weather rider in mind—the rider who doesn't let a little rain, mud, or snow stop their fun. The 2.5mm deep siping on the treads significantly improves traction in wet, icy, and snowy conditions. The 6mm wide and 5.5mm deep treads on the Pioneer are so gnarly, we dare you to lose traction on this beast!
The Pioneer profile is designed to have a massive contact patch to improve stability and grip in sketchy conditions. It's a 6.9" wide tire with a nice large center-line flat strip at the crown and progressive shoulders, which makes initiating and holding an edge on an Antic Bike turn super easy.
Choose Your Compound:
- Soft Compound: Feels smoother, more forgiving, and buttery underfoot. However, because it is a softer compound, it will not last as long and tends to wear out quicker.
- Mid Compound: Increases the overall longevity of the tire, extending the period of time between tire changes. However, it will not be as forgiving underfoot and will provide a more noticeable "edge" when carving on your Antic Bike.
