Best QoL upgrade for a one wheel

You don't realize how bad the stock footpads are until you try these. I was still on stock pads getting achy feet when riding. I just assumed it was just one wheeling despite riding for a few years. Nope. Swapped to kush low front and rear. Huge game changer. Snagged them within minutes of the announcement and it's been great. I couldn't wear certain types of shoes on the old pads bc of the engagement issues, now I can wear whatever. Best of all, it stopped that annoying, embarrassing thing where the board just kinda shuts off on you at slow speeds and you look like you don't know how to ride. If you are considering these at all, just get them. No Ragrets!

The Holy Grail

I have size 13 feet, and I have tried everything for foot fatigue. Stock pads, lowboy flared soft, the new wood flared pads, foam grip tape... nothing really solved the problem. Foam tape was the closest, but then pad activation was SO inconsistent. These pads FINALLY are comfortable and have perfect activation. I'm honestly not 100% clear on why these are so comfortable, since the urethane is very similar to the FM soft compound pads. Especially compared to the flared FM pads in soft compound, I can't pinpoint why they feel so much better. I think part of it is the much more rounded edges, which I'm thinking was the source of most of my fatigue issues. Either way, man these things are perfect, even though they aren't wide. I'm so happy 🥲

A nice upgrade

As a fan of the Kush low I really liked this sensor. The engagement is spot on, and comfort is a huge upgrade. Often on other sensors I've used gripples or other means of ensuring I have good sensor activation. I also really enjoy the lack of a need for an under plate, and will be a really nice addition to my VEXR when that version is released. Only complaint is that the heel lift deactivation is pretty difficult for me to make happen. I have size 11 feet, and really the heel lift still works, but it's a much bigger struggle to get the board to shut off in this manner with the interlace nature of the sensor. I'd say maybe dial the interlace back so it's not as far across the footpad. Still going to keep using it, like it over my FM low boy, or the OG stock GT ghosting pad lol.

Kush Lo Front Footpad

The pad feels amazing. I've been using a Kush Wide on the rear of my board for quite a while and have been wanting a cushioned front pad for ages. I get foot fatigue and this is a real improvement. Cheers TFL, keep up the good work 🙂
