Our sidekicks have tried and tested many different adhesives and have developed one that stays on your board with strength while being much easier to remove than other rail guards on the market. Onewheel and other brands have adhesive that's very difficult to remove when you are ready to switch them out. Sidekicks are also the original rail protection and come un-branded for a clean minimalist look.

Sidekicks damaged my board!

Their rail guards/sidekicks removed the paint from the bottom of my board, part of the serial number and matrix code. They caused more damage than using nothing at all. Mr. Owner Jeff said he could only refund or replace the sidekicks and I was on my own with the damage to my board.

I might not be able to get future motion to service the board now and I'm pretty sure my warranty is done.

I read loads of reviews and everyone is happy with their customer service, I don't know what I did wrong to get treated so poorly. It was like he completely didn't care his product damaged my board.

Don't support a person/company that won't stand by their products.

Hey Kris, sorry you didn't have a good experience. We tried to work with you to find a resolution, but it sounds like that didn't work out. Just to give some context to folks reading this, a small portion of the screenprinted QR code on the bottom of the rails came off. Because of this, he couldn't automatically register the board in Onewheel's Owner Portal. This isn't a big deal, it just means you have to reach out to FM customer care to have them manually add it by providing the serial number. I suggested he do that and let me know if he has any trouble and I will personally make some calls to people we know in customer care at Onewheel and get his board registered. I also offered to replace his Sidekicks for free. Apparently this wasn't enough and instead he demanded we give him a free set of Dub Tails rails. For reference, the Sidekicks were bought on sale for $16 and Dub Tails cost about $400. Wild cost disparity aside, that didn't make a lot of sense to me because you can't register your board with aftermarket rails installed anyways so it does nothing to fix the issue. We never heard back from him about needing help to register his board so we assumed Onewheel customer service was able to get him taken care of. Then this review came through and here we are.

Anyways, Kris if you're reading this, the offer still stands to help you get your board registered. Just let me know!

Pint S sidekicks -Love the look, but…

Love the look and reflection but the one’s I ordered seemed to be a little oversized and the adhesive doesn’t stick on like a quarter to 1/3 third on one side. I think the opposite side stocked better but haven’t checked it yet as I been busy working.

Sorry about that Corey! I'm going to get a replacement sent sent your way right now, since it sounds like you got a defective set.

Although the original ones were awesome but out of stock, these were my next pick. I'm actually glad I ended up with these ones instead. The reflective aspect to them come in handy at night. Very pleased with the product.
