Valve Stem (MTE Compatible)

This is an excellent lightweight valve stem but be careful using it. Most people like myself are used to using rubber valve stems like what is on cars and bicycles. Some trucks a RV’s have larger steel valve stems. The one on the MTE hub is aluminum. You can’t just attach a steel or brass air compressor chuck to this aluminum valve stem without being very careful. The aluminum is soft and very thin where the stem cap screws on. I would highly suggest you use a small battery powered air compressor with a plastic screw-on chuck to connect to this valve stem. The valve stem works great and does what it is intended to do. Just realize it is aluminum and may need extra care when filling. I may try a 90 degree steel model in the future and see if the extra weight causes any tire vibration issues.

Unfortunately doesn’t fit on the 5” hub from techrails. Will find another project to put it on though.
