MTE 5" Hub - XR/Pint Compatible

Bought the MTE for my new XRC, paired it with the 555 enduro tire. Was a challenge to get the tire on the hub but figured out an easy way to do it after going at it for hours. Brains over braun situation. Love the ride , had not ridden the XRC as shipped so can’t compare the difference in ride. The items shipped fast really happy with float life’s service, would definitely recommend ordering from them for any Onewheel accessories. Also picked up some blem items , kush pad and some bumpers at a very good price for my daughter’s XR. Happy customer will definitely be getting more stuff soon.

This hub is like a step up in your game. Hills and rough terrain that were impossible to ride before can now be crushed and a whole new world of possibilities are present. I’m a bigger rider and now the thing has the potential to haul me around like I’m a 100 lbs lighter. I’m also 55 years old and get a lot of looks from people on the trails. Now their jaws are on the ground as they see this old fat guy ripping it up. Love this new hub and would also recommend the pioneer tire. I believe this to be another part of the change in my game. It’s the best tire I’ve ridden so far. I’ve tried a hand full treaded tires since I bought my XR+ backin 2018. The pioneer tire shape is the best carving tire out there. I’ll leave a review for it as well. I was thinking about getting a new board then decided on getting the hub and tire instead. Best cheapest decision ever. What I got was a new board for less than half the price of a new one. I also had the Grizzly ceramic bearings installed. The process to install can be done by anyone who can watch a detailed video and repeat what they watched. Great video. One improvement to it would be to show the installation of the axle "O" rings and making sure that you get and use the right ones. I got several different ones free in the swag bags. My original ones were sheared and totally unusable I didn’t purchase any but got the free ones in the swag bag and was glad to get them. Took a couple of tries to figure out which size was the right size for mine.

Probably the best upgrade you can do on a Onewheel.

So picture this… your a teenager, school gets called out for a severe weather threat headed your way. But the storm completely misses your area, the sun comes out, you grab your skateboard and head out. That feeling…. Relief, sun on your face, an epic ride ahead, put simply….. happiness. That’s a 5” Mte hub. Just buy three and thank me later.

Bought this with trb, idk if it’s the bearing or the hub but the first time I ride this I can tell right away the difference. It’s like riding in a cloud
