Ordered it thinking it was necessary for the install but it isn't. It is still in the package unused. Not sure what it's needed for??

Not sure if I needed or not. Thicker gauge? Changed it anyway and all works ! It’s been raining for a week straight can’t really test out my SS pro yet. Programmed and ready to go. Did go a few miles. Loving it so far
