Product Description

The Pioneer and the Enduro had a lovechild and it identifies as a ThunderCat. At a 6.75 width, this tire has a bit more carve than the Pioneer and holds traction significantly better than the Enduro. The tread depth is deeper than Enduro, but shallower than Pioneer however we spaced the treads extra wide at the shoulder to maximize grip through heavy turns. Speaking of tread, this custom tread design is ridiculously sick! Cat claws + lightning bolts create the base tread and a combination of siping + stippling patterns sprinked on top make "wheelslip notifications" a thing of the past. Oh, and peep that sidewall design and let the 80's nostalgia flow through your soul.

Tread and sidewall designed by KASH Harrison

Compound Choice:
Soft compound will feel smoother, forgiving, and more buttery underfoot. However, due to it being a soft compound it will not last as long and tends to wear out quicker.

Mid compound will increase the longevity of the tire, extending the period of time between tire changes. However, it will not be as forgiving underfoot and will have a more noticeable "edge" when carving.

GT/GT-S Series Compatible = Fits 6.5" Hubs Only. Does NOT fit Rally Edition or XL with 6" hub

BTG | 6" Hub Compatible is for "Big Tire Gang" = Will only work with Extended Rails. Does NOT fit a 6.5" Hub

XR Growler = NOT compatible with Pint frame. IS compatible with our shortened "Growler" rails installed on an XR board.  *First production run of this tire have a double printed Float logo error*

Outstanding from mile 1 to 1,400 and counting...

This is one of my favorite tires ever! It's crazy nimble and carves like a Pint with chunky tread that grips everything like Spiderman climbing a wall and somehow remains crazy stable. I don't even think I'm halfway through the miles it has to give but I already have another on the shelf. Soft is the way to go. I ride pretty hard and fast on a SFHS BTG so I'm for sure putting it to work. I started with a Burris and I get the stability from that tire is great for racing. But if FUN and PLAYFUL is what you're after, this is the tire for you!

Really fun tire

This was very easy to mount. I ride a lot of street but wanted to start hitting more trails. Playing with the PSI on this tire makes it like two completely different tires. It’s ridiculous on trails at like 14- super grippy but responsive. It’s surprisingly carvable and reasonably comfy on the street as well at like 17. It just sounds like a fricken swarm of bees is following you because of the tread. I still feel it rides better than the enduro on and off road, though. Definitely good bang for the buck if you mostly ride trails.

My new favorite! (11.25 x 6.75 - 6, XRC)

Have ridden a little over 20 miles of trails with the TC and I have to say this is my new favorite trail tire. It is very stable and yet nimble but never gets squirrely and out of control. It absorbs chunk making the ride and landings soft to the feel. Even hitting those unexpected roots and stumps the tire just takes it and little correction is needed to stay on course. Now that I know I love it I should of bought two so I have a backup!

GRIP GRIP GRIP GRIP!!!!!!!!

The treads on this tire are so responsive that it feels like it sticking to the ground but also has the ability to feel like you’re riding on powder. Compared to the GTS FM performance treaded tire, I find myself consistently riding at higher speeds due to the stability this tire gives. Due to the amazing grip I noticed I have to push a little more to give it more power at higher speeds. Also my range has gone down a couple of miles maybe due to the grip or the fact I’m more comfortable going consistently fast with this tire. Not one complaint with this bad boy. If you’re in the fence, buy it.

Thundercat HO!!!!

As usual, TFL blesses us with a fantastic tire. Outta the box the tire looks well made. The inner carcass is consistent and stout. The tread pattern looks awesome and functions even better. I only have about 20 miles on a mid compound 6” version, but I’m super stoked so far. Great response in the dirt. Nimble but not squirrely. Great traction. Looking forward to many miles of smiles.
