OK fine, you want tread?! Well then we're going to give you more tread than you can handle! We developed the Pioneer to have the deepest and widest tread available on a Onewheel™ tire BY FAR.
The Pioneer was created with the wintertime rider in mind. The rider who doesn't let a little rain or snow stop their fun. The 2.5mm deep siping on the treads significantly improves traction in wet/icy/snowy conditions and the 6mm wide and 5.5mm deep treads on the Pioneer is so gnarly, we dare you to lose traction on this beast!
The Pioneer profile is designed to have a large contact patch to improve stability and grip in sketchy conditions. It's a 6.9" wide tire with a nice large center-line flat strip at the crown and progressive shoulders which make initiating and holding edge on a turn super easy.
Compound Choice:
Soft compound will feel smoother, forgiving, and more buttery underfoot. However, due to it being a soft compound it will not last as long and tends to wear out quicker.
Mid compound will increase the longevity of the tire, extending the period of time between tire changes. However, it will not be as forgiving underfoot and will have a more noticeable "edge" when carving.

the soft is so butter smooth
I've tried alot of tires, but I truly feel like this one is the best onewheel tire I've road to date! Street or dirt wet leafs grass mud, I have the traction I expect and can trust under my feet not running any foothold setup I trust my tire alot!

I have 5” pioneer tire on my GTVS and it’s by far the best tire for ripping up trails. The grip and traction is amazing 🤩. Street riding is nice as well, just a little sound from tread pattern on streets. If you’re looking into a new trail tire, look no further, the pioneer will take you where you want to go!

If the Lewis and Clark Expedition had the 5in pioneer tire it wouldn't have taken them 2 years, and surely wouldn't have cost $8,000 to explore the Louisiana purchase expansion. Be a true pioneer and thrash some trails with this sick 5in beast. Or not, but you'll quickly find out no one makes a tire that comes close to this.
