It's no secret that the GT has been plagued with clearance issues since it's launch. The Rally edition sits the nose even lower which can exacerbate the problem. Those thick rails and bumper shape can cause the nose of your Onewheel™ to dig into the dirt when you least expect it. Well great news, we fixed that problem with BTS Bumpers! These are the bumpers you'll want if you're a hardcore trail rider looking to maximize your performance. Here are the features of BTS Bumpers:
-1/4" increased clearance in the nose of the board.
-Deflection ribs at the nose and tail bounce off rocks and snags while riding off-road instead of catching at the light bar.
-Comfort grip finger cutout handle at the nose.
-Front bumper insert moves the attachment screws away from the bumper corners significantly extending the life of the screws.
-Both front and rear bumpers available individually so if you wear through one, you don't have to buy a whole new set which saves you $$$!
Note* BTS Bumpers are not compatible with Overlanders unless you trim the deflection ribs.

These are great compared to the Freeride bumpers I had been running. There is a bit more vertical clearance yes, but the more impactful improvement is the shape of the nose bumper; the approach angle is a lot better due to the shaping of the transition from the flat bottom surface of the bumper up to the headlight. Also, the corners of the bumpers are smoothly radiused on the angled surface, making it far more predictable whenever you touch the corners of the board down in tight turns or while braking/turning. The deflection ribs at the light openings are a smart and functionally practical design idea also. My only niggle is that the rear bumper does not fit as good as a stock or Freeride bumper, there is a small gap between the rear edge of the bumper and the footpad, even when the bumper is fully seated and the bolts are fully tightened. Great overall.

Flattens out the nose by removing some of the radius. Small gains but I’ll take it. Side note: slight modification must be made if you are using Tech rails motor plug retainer (no fault of float life, just a heads up). Works great, looks great. Wish the back could be done the same :(

The front bumper is fantastic at adding clearance. Definitely a huge difference. The rear is the same as a normal bang bumper but it seems a little less durable than bangs.
I like the design bracing over the light plus the extra clearance up front is nice! I've had mine for awhile and zero issues and all good!
