Why the heck are these tires so cheap?
Every batch of tires we receive from the tire factory is hand inspected here at the Float Shop for imperfections prior to being placed into inventory. Sometimes we get a few tires that don't pass our in-house quality control inspection due to small imperfections that are potentially beyond cosmetic. These "factory second" tires passed the tire factory QC, but not our more stringent in-house QC. We don't feel 100% confident in backing these tires with our full tire warranty as these defects might effect the life of the tire so we are HEAVILY discounting and offering them through JTS with NO WARRANTY and NO RETURNS offered. These tires are great for folks who may want to sample a tire they are curious about, but don't want to spend $100+ on it.
