Drop Top Fender Kit Feature:

šŸ‘ Easiest on/off Conversion whether rain or shine, leave that tool at home and pop your fender top on or off in 2 seconds flat! Sun's out? Let that tire breathe! Looking wet outside? Pop that top on and keep your pants dry. The Drop Top Fender is the quickest and easiest on/off in the game!

šŸ‘ Quick Debris Clean trail junkies know that sticks and leaves get lodged in your fender, potentially locking-up your tire and seizing your motor! With the Drop Top Fender, one quick click off and you can clear those debris then keep on shredding with the quickness!

šŸ‘ Locked-In Tech the problem with current removable fenders is they can pop off during tough trails or drops. Not with the Drop Top Fender! With the new Locked-In Tech, you Drop Top Fender will stay locked-in place through some pretty damn heavy hits. Just set it and forget it!

šŸ‘ Insane Durability we legit built the Drop Top Fender out of the same material they make hockey helmets from. If it's tough enough for Wayne Gretzky to take a 100+mph slap shot to the dome, it's tough enough for your wheel!

šŸ‘ WTF Rail Compatible Purpose built for all WTF rails. From Low Riders to Steep & Deep, we got you covered. (NOT COMPATIBLE WITH BTG RAILS, DUE TO EXTRA LENGTH)Ā Note, the Low Riders will require a special lift kit which you can print yourself here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thefloatlife/designs

Do It

If youā€™re wondering should I, just go ahead and do it. This is so smooth, clicks in and off you go. Plus you get a nice sling pack for when you want to ride with the top down.

Sweet Fendy

I got this because Onewheel could not fulfill a full send package in time for the GT-S. Thanks for patching my kit! Easy on and off my re-curve setup.

Itā€™s good šŸ‘

Itā€™s a nice fender, for being made by people who donā€™t ride with fenders that much. Iā€™ve had this fender for about a year and have really put it through its paces. As concisely as I can put it, here are my main takeaways:

1. Itā€™s very strong, I donā€™t see this ever breaking from regular or even hardcore onewheel use. Getting run over by a car however probably not, but if your board is getting run over I wouldnā€™t be worried about the fenderšŸ˜†

2. I give it a 7/10 on keeping water on the bottom side of the board. It doesnā€™t leak onto the footpad at all like the C&R magnetic fender does which is great, buuuuuut itā€™s too skinny over the top and if youā€™re going through some REAL wetness with any speed, youā€™re gonna get a little, SOME water slung onto your front leg and toe. It flings the water forward instead of down like other fenders. If this matters to you at all, I think itā€™s good to know. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

3. It fits with half & half axle blocks!! As in this is one of the only full fenders you can have with any rails or a half-inch drop on stock rails! Lots of extra clearance šŸ¤©

4. Only thing I DONā€™T like: itā€™s super loud. Yes it makes the expected noises when rocks and gravel are thrown under it, BUT it also vibrates super loudly when slowing down down a hill. Like, 2X louder than haptic buzz. Itā€™s because itā€™s friction fit, and a certain frequency from the regen noise your motor makes resonates with the fender and makes it vibrate, a ton. Itā€™s annoying, but if you donā€™t ride with a fender that much anyway and you like everything else about the fender, this is absolutely not a dealbreaker imo. Itā€™s just especially noisy, thatā€™s the only problem with the fender. :/

Works good with the Homebrew Dub Trail rails.

Absolute game changer

This is hands down one of the greatest innovations that the Float life has pushed forward. Itā€™s such a simple design, but it solves the issue of dirt buildup, obstruction buildup, and even repairability. Iā€™m not one to ride around without a fender, but itā€™s cool if you want to show off the tire, you just pop it off. Now then, thatā€™s where it also shows its flaw. If you do indeed like to pull off tricks on your onewheel like I occasionally do, I would highly recommend you take off the drop top fender because it can easily get popped off and caught and wedged inside the tire/frame. Other than that, it is an excellent accessory. I couldnā€™t be more impressed with the float life and what theyā€™ve done to advance this great piece of machinery. Canā€™t wait to see what they do next.
