The TAC hoodie is comfortable to wear, size L for me who is 5'6 ft. Plus, gives my family and me a peace of mind while I ride my XR.
This here hoodie is Top-Notch in my book! First off, it’s made very well and seems like it will hold up for quite some time. Stitching is perfect and to me, is true to fit. The Kevlar lining is a huge + and I feel like I have some much needed added protection from falls and abrasions. The shoulder pads need to be taken out and sharpen a bit, but that takes a few minutes.
Now, the ONLY reason I gave it a 4 is because of the elbow pads. The concept is awesome, but when you are wearing the sweater, the sleeves are a little loose, which is fine, but causes the pads to “float” around a bit. I think this would cause added abrasions to your elbow and forearms in the event of a fall. I personally took the elbow pads out and just wear my regular ones underneath (there is enough room).
Overall, very happy with the purchase!!!
We have been hardcore Park mt bikers for years. The Tac Jacket is top notch in both forms. The Tac Hoodie xl is a big xl. The Tac Jacket Flannel xl fits like a big large. For mt bikes my go to is the leatt 3df airfit body tee with ixs Flow or carve pads for danger days. I wanted something to put in my Tesla and leave there this is great. The pad are not excellent you feel like you have pads on. They work tho. Will be replaced with Rheon level 2 sholder elbows and back pad when I have the cash. The pads are useable tho. Its 130 plus tax for sick pads so it ends up being the same price as a sick motorcycle jacket with pads you buy. Would buy again. Very nice quality. Thanks
Love the fact I can just toss this hoodie on and have tons of protection while I'm riding. Materials feel high quality and looks good too. I'm on the east coast and it's still cold here at the moment, but this hoodie still keeps me warm.
Sooo stoked about having a hoodie with pit vents pretty much perfect for the usual big bear winters the armor is a plus the only downsides are us tall guys I’m 6’4” would love a xl-tall option ( looking at you Jeff) also zip up kangaroo pockets would have been huge also otherwise as always the float life with another win if you’re thinking about picking up one just do it $120 is wayy better than an er bill
