My life had not been awesome since I injured my arm in August. Fractured my right humerus below the shoulder, and did some damage to my rotator cuff. While healing and doing my PT, I'd been neglecting my Pint, which had sat sadly in a corner for three months, waiting for the day I can ride again.
Suddenly, I hear Peter Gabriel music softly from somewhere outside. What could it be? I rush to the window and open the blinds. There stands Lloyd Mother Effin' Dobler with his Onewheel lifted to the heavens, reminding me of what's important in life. I feel the stoke rise again. I double down on my training, hastening the day when me, my board, the open road will be re-united.
