-Literally the exact same as a regular HellaRad, but it has a red line around it that wears off after a few miles.
-LIMIT (2) TIRES PER ORDER.
-TIRE IS 11x5.0-6 SO IT FITS 6" HUBS ONLY. DOES NOT FIT 6.5" HUBS
The slick tire to rule them all! If you're looking for the ultimate street tire, look no further. We based the TFL HellaRad Tire off of the infamous XtraRad tire, but made huge improvements in ride comfort, edge control, and snappiness. This is the last slick tire you'll ever want under your feet on a Growler or Pint/Pint X.
-A semi-soft custom durometer creates a dampened ride which significantly reduces off-road chatter and road noise.
-Slick treadless pattern with TFL wear indicators for the smoothest quiet underfoot feel.
-Progressive sidewall durometer and shoulder shaping create the largest possible edge contact patch while digging deep into carves for unparalleled edge hold and greatly reduced speed wobbles.
So far so good, feels softer than the stock tire at the same pressure (I normally ride at around 20psi). Feels more stable at cruzing speed as well, though slightly less carvy at low speeds. Very quiet tire too which is a nice bonus
Incredibly low road noise compared to the stock tire. Much more control than I ever expected. Can't wait for my next one!
Can't wait too put this on my board, thanks TFL!
This tyre was amazing from the first ride.
I had 700km on the stock slick - satisfactorily worn in. The main (extreme) difference is smoothness, the Hellarad has made the pint x really feel like I'm floating.
Much quieter & super carvy (more than worn in stock tyre).
An easy upgrade decision, especially for the price!!
Postage took ages, I live down under 🦘
Thanks again, see you on the next purchase 🤪😜🤣
If you have a pint that feels too squirrely and unstable, I cannot recommend this tire enough. I bought a HellaRad (red line, soft) and it was an instant improvement.
I like the form factor of the Pint for my size and ride style, but needed something that didn't feel like it was going to buck me off with every bump. I rode the stock tire for almost 700 miles but the struggle of that carvy tire was getting tiresome. It's grippier feeling than stock as well.
If you're in that boat: drop $100(ish), spend an afternoon doing the tire change & you'll be happier for it. It's night & day, IMMEDIATE stability.
We even set the bead with the Hella Small Pump! (One side popped at 26psi)
